I GREW UP ACROSS FROM MY ITALIAN GRANDPARENT’S FARM…
…where flower gardens, fresh vegetables, and homemade wine were part of every day life.
In the spring one of my jobs was to push a hoe through the soil to make dozens of rows in preparation for vegetable seeds. In the fall, I crushed grapes and started the fermentation process in 50-gallon wooden barrels. Every year was like this and I loved it.
A few years ago it became legal to grow cannabis at home. I was intrigued by the many ways cannabis could be used for health, wellness and pleasure. I did extensive research to learn about the growing process and techniques. After a few seasons of trial and error, I started having great success and I began to document the grow cycle.
My nephew, who suffers from Crohn’s disease, was searching for a way to use cannabis to ease his pain and improve his appetite. I wrote out a rough guide and gave him some cloth pots, seeds, trimming shears and a jeweler’s magnifier so he could grow it himself. Friends and family became interested and soon they were asking for growing help as well.
I continued to refine the growing guide and equipment list to help you grow beautiful, organic cannabis flower at home under the sun.
