…where flower gardens, fresh vegetables, and homemade wine were part of every day life.

In the spring one of our jobs was to push a hoe through the soil to make dozens of rows in preparation for vegetable seeds.  In the fall, we crushed grapes and started the wine fermentation process in 50-gallon wooden barrels. Every year was like this and we loved it.

Why cannabis?  Our nephew suffers from Crohn’s disease and was searching for a way to use cannabis to ease his pain and improve his appetite. We wrote out a rough guide and gave him some cloth pots, seeds, trimming shears and other material so he could grow it himself. Friends and family became interested and soon they were asking for growing help as well.

We refined the growing guide and equipment list and continued to help others. After years of research and growing, We decided to create Sungrown Kit so anyone could grow at home under the sun, the old fashioned way.

We are deeply involved in fighting prohibition and the human tragedy that is the war on drugs.  The cannabis plant has been important to people’s well-being for thousands of years and it is time to free people in prison for non-violent cannabis offenses and restore the power of cannabis.
